(I wish I had this book) Review from The Horn Book, Inc.: A collection of Aesop's fables, reminiscent of the Caldecott tellings, is illustrated with forty color and twenty black-and-white illustrations culled from editions published over the last 150 years. The introduction gives the history of Aesop and his illustrators, and the comparison of illustrators' styles is interesting.
